Robert Dumont
Robert is a New York–based stage and screen actor with a knack for portraying charismatic yet emotionally complex characters. His experience in theater and film spans across drama, comedy, Shakespeare, and musical theater. He currently trains with Anthony Abeson (NYC) in acting improvisation, scene study, and character work, as well as at HB studio, where he studies a range of foundational acting techniques and approaches. Robert grew up in Putnam County, New York, where his parents helped found (and continue to run) a local community theater company, fostering his early connection to story-telling and performance. With a background in athletics, Robert grew up playing multiple sports, ultimately influencing his professional career in Physical Therapy. There, he’s been able to combine his passion for health and wellness with the ability to help others, developing strong personable connections and altruistic values along the way. Robert continues to stay active through a wide range of physical & outdoor activities, including weight training, hiking, and scuba diving. His experience in fitness and Physical Therapy has led to a deep understanding of movement, physicality, and body awareness, which contributes to his multifaceted work as an actor.
